Hey there, crochet friend!

I’m Laura-Maria from Bilby & Ben.

I love the thrill and satisfaction of being able to create things myself, and first learnt to crochet when I walked in on my roommate working on a blanket in our tiny London kitchen / living room.

I was fascinated by the way that that one hook could twist the yarn into such amazing curves and coils in order to make pretty much anything you could dream up.

There’s something so special about a handmade item – whether it’s a gift for a loved one or a piece that’s just for you!

All of my designs are created with this in mind, and usually originated when someone close to me asked for such a thing.
