Water Sprite Cardigan
In the Water Sprite, a boy and girl fall into a well and are captured by a fairy. The fairy takes them home to work for her and when they become tired of working for the fairy, the boy and girl devise a plan to escape. They run away and throw a brush, a comb, and a looking glass behind them that grow to huge proportions to stop the fairy from following them.
This little cardigan was inspired by their story. Knit from the bottom up with raglan decreases, the texture and cables on this little cardigan remnd me of water and the three items that the boy and girl threw to stop the fairy from capturing them again.
This pattern is meant for adventurous novice knitters to experienced knitters and all those in-between. Please read the entire pattern before beginning.
