Seriously. I cast on this shawl and designed the first few rows because I just wanted to knit! I had this pretty ball of Wunderkleckse and some needles and I just needed an easy, but interesting knit. I hope you’ll find this little shawl both easy and interesting too. I think the highly variegated Wunderkleckse (and any similarly variegated yarn) really makes this little shawl sparkle.

This pattern is meant for adventurous novice knitters to experienced knitters and all those in-between. Please read the entire pattern before beginning.

Yarn: 1 Skein Schoppel-Wolle Wunderkleckse, 459 yards, 75% Wool, 25% Nylon, color
2139 Bella Patina

Needle: US 3 (3.25 mm) Signature circulars or needles to obtain gauge

Gauge: 6 stitches per inch (spi) and 8 rows per inch (rpi) OR 24 stitches & 32 rows to 4 inches/10 cm in stockinette (gauge is not that important here so long as the fabric is rather open)

Size: 30 inches by 60 inches

To alter the size: Adjust your gauge to increase or decrease the size of the shawl as needed.
