Fall Reflections
This pattern is worked in the round in a stockinette stitch. There is a fun twist to this pattern in the Latvian braid. If you have never tried this technique then this is a fun and easy way to do so. It is easier than you think, I swear! The charted area of this pattern is in a two-color stranded colorwork.
Not too bad really and a great way to learn to colorwork or work up a very fast pattern.
When I dreamed up this cowI was inspired by the trees and leaves in the great Northwest this fall. It is really an amazing sight to behold and I’m quite sure if you live here you know exactly what I’m talking about. Do not let my color choices keep you from turning the seasons into your own!
Matching my gauge is very important if you wish to get this done in only two skeins of the suggested yarn of Malabrigo twist in Aran weight. so be sure to play around with your gauge and if you’re not quite sure buy extra yarn! You can never have enough anyway.
My suggested yarn is Malabrigo Twist in aran weight yarn. Each skein has approximately 150 yards 3.5 oz. The sample is shown in MC sunset 096 and CC Olive 056.
Have fun with this pattern and be sure to contact me if you have any questions and definitely let me know how you like this!
