I’m Suzi Anvin, a 30 something knitter living in San Jose CA. I first became involved with knitting after being taught how to spin at the Renaissance Pleasure Faire. :) I needed something to do with all that yarn. The most interesting part of the process for me is figuring out what to do, and consequently I have made most of my own patterns. My current interest is combining the colorful sock yarns I’m completely addicted to with stitch patterns that match - so you can see both stitches and colorful yarn. I’d like the chance to share these with others, since I have very much enjoyed the results. I’ve recently been selected for publication in Debbie Stoller’s Advanced Stitch and Bitch, and have produced a commissioned design for Schaeffer Yarns. In my other life, I’m a child psychologist and have recently opened my own practice, Advancing Minds.
