Felicia Lo
In 2005, Felicia Lo founded SweetGeorgia Yarns, an artisanal hand-dyed yarn company. Starting out with just three skeins of yarn for sale on the newly minted Etsy.com, demand soon exploded within a matter of months. Over the past decade, SweetGeorgia Yarns has grown into a team of skilled craftspeople and artisans work together to create and spread joy through colour. These days, Felicia is the Creative Director for SweetGeorgia while also developing educational content for the fibre arts including dyeing, spinning, weaving, knitting, and color theory for crafters and artisans. Felicia currently lives and works in the Vancouver area with her young family.
Felicia published Dyeing to Spin & Knit, her first book with Interweave Press and it’s all about creating and working with hand-crafted colour on yarn and fibre. Find it here: http://sweetgeorgiayarns.com/book
School of SweetGeorgia, our online craft + fibre arts school is in development right now! See more about this project and support us here: http://sweetgeorgiayarns.com/patreon
