Cowl is knit in the round and in one piece, a long tube, beginning with a provisional cast-on. It is finished by joining the two ends with the kitchener stitch.

This pattern is worked in the round from cuff to fingers with both written and charted information. There is a left and right mitt with appropriately placed thumb gussets.

The poncho is worked in one piece, beginning at the Front bottom edge. Stitches are bound off to create a neck opening. Then stiches are picked up for the Button Bands at the Right Shoulder, the Collar at the Neck opening, and the Side Edges along the right and left sides.

Mitts are worked in the round in one piece beginning with the wrist edge. Stitches are reserved for the thumb which is then knit in the round as well.

This skirt is knit in the round from the waist down to the hem. First the waistband casing is knit, followed by the skirt, then the lace mesh. It is finished with a picot bind-off.

This hat is knit in the round from the brim to crown, switching from a 16” circular needle to DPNs when necessary.

This scarf is worked in one piece, lengthwise, with stitches bound off at one side edge and the same number of stitches cast on at the opposite side edge at the end of the same row. This gives the scarf a shape like a parallelogram with a staggered edge.

The body of this sweater is cast on at the bottom edge and worked in the round to the underarms, then front and back are worked separately to the shoulder.

This vest is worked flat in one piece to the armholes, then fronts and back are worked separately to the shoulders.

The lace border is knit first and then stitches are picked up along the straight edge for the dress. The dress is then worked in the round with a yoke. The yoke is worked first in the round and later worked flat to create a back slit to accommodate head size and make dressing easier.
Knitting: Sleeveless Top
This tank is knit sideways with stitches cast-on and bound-off to shape the armholes and neck. There is a simple openwork stitch along the bottom and neck edge. The tank has asymmetrical sides with one longer than the other. This is accomplished with simple decreasing.
