Brioche Del Mar is an ode to the many shorelines I’ve strolled over the years and the wonderful Café del Mar chill-out albums I listened to endlessly in the late ‘90’s.
Brioche Del Mar is the perfect combination of knitting to keep you engaged at the start, watch T.V. knitting the body, and then re-engage you for a two colour Brioche finish (the hem)!
This oversized top, lots of positive airy ease, is worked seamlessly from the top down. It starts out with a separate back worked in the flat, and then the front to the arm holes. The fronts and backs are joined to work down in the round to the Brioche hem after the armholes are complete. Two colour brioche ends the sweater with a scalloped shell edge.
The sleeves have two cuff options – either a mesh eyelet or a simple twisted rib – you decide!
