Use any worsted weight yarn.

Change to larger needles, and with RS facing: K1, p1, k4 (or cable), p1, k21. Slip rem 12 16, 20, 24, 28 sts onto stitch holder.
Pocket is 28 stitches and includes a 4-stitch garter stitch at the side opening edge and the estab cable on the zipper edge.
WS: 4-st garter st, p17, k1, p4, k1, p1.
