Woven Colors Pullover
Pattern also calls for 12 skeins of 100% tapestry wool (~8 yards each) for weaving through cables.
DESIGNER NOTE:
The design is a way of incorporating color into cables. When one thinks of color-work, Intarsia or Fair Isle come to mind. Yet, I wanted to make color more accessible and a whole lot easier. Thus, I created little purl nibs with the cable patterns in order to weave another color through. I actually cover this technique in my Applying Weaving Techniques to Knits class that I teach regularly at TKGA conferences.
You choose your own palette. Even if you don’t weave the colors in, the basic patterning is interesting. This is why I left the back blank so that you can see the with and without and you can decide, or leave the back blank on purpose!
