Tropical Shores

Who doesn’t dream of sun kissed beach strolls with warm breezes and washed up corals? I know I do. It’s my mental go-to place when it’s absolutely freezing, or when I’m totally stressed out! This shawl is made for wrapping you up in those memories, thoughts, or wishes. ☺

It is a top down triangular shawl that has a little bit of brioche, squishy garter, some simple short rowing, some strips of eyelets just for the fun of it, and finished off with brioche shell motifs languishing in some warm aqua marine waters ;)

New to Brioche? Don’t worry! There are lots of video tutorials to take you through all the various brioche stitches and techniques you’ll need :)

Tropical Shores is knit using the super sumptuously squishy Primrose Yarns, Marquess MCN DK.

If you prefer to knit this in fingering weight here are the Yarn and Needles for this version: JSTDesigns Fingering Tropical Shores Please note: An extra 2 rows of brioche was knit before binding off.
