These socks were inspired by a sacred woodland valley in North Cornwall, featuring natural rock formations and waterfalls. They begin at the toe using Judy’s Magic Cast on, working lifted increases to get to the foot circumference. The foot is worked straight to the desired length, then the sole stitches are increased for the gusset. The heel turn is shaped using short rows and increases which are then decreased when you begin the slip-stitch heel. An 8-row repeat lace panel travels up the front of the sock to represent the waterfall. The socks are sized to fit a foot circumference of 17 (19, 21) (23, 24.5)cm / 7 (7 1/2, 8 1/4) (9, 9 3/4)in.
