The hard packed dirt path followed the coastline, nestled in a passage of conifers. To the right, wild ocean waves crested and broke over jagged cliffs. To the left, spruce, hemlock and cedar rose tall and strong, promising shelter from the impending grey clouds looming overhead. Ocean winds lifted the branches in greeting as the island became wilder and wilder. A tearing crack of thunder ridged through the air instantly, and large splatters of raindrops hit the granite stairs forged into the walk. A quick rush, a hurry inland, to the waiting cabin down the long pebbled path.
This pattern is #sizeinclusive
