Snårvinda is not your typical Ziggurat pullover. I wanted
to knit a sweater with a colourful classical round yoke but with a rather more tailored shape. The solution is a fun mashup of circular yoke and classic Ziggurat increases – a top-up-down construction. You start with a provisional cast on below the colourwork, then work the sweater upwards and bind off at the neck. Now you knit top-down with slight body shaping and finish with a split ribbed
hem.

The mid-length sleeve picks up a simple motif from the yoke.

• Ziggurat mashup: everything is knitted in one go, top-up-down
• no seaming
• very few ends to weave in
• bold and simple stylized garland motif
