Shûremna
Meander after meander, the Sûre curls its way around the tree-covered hills. We’re surrounded by luxuriant vegetation and peaceful creeks. A complex of forested wetlands, acidic fen and peatlands, wet grasslands, reed beds, springs, rural zones, a lake and many rock formations… Hidden gems, all there for us to discover and enjoy.
Those are all memories of the Sûre river valley in Luxembourg that inspired the Shûremna cowl. Lace patterns travel up the cowl and intertwine to form shapes reminiscent of woody hill flanks, leaves, and river bends. Asymmetrical edgings with peaks top the elegant stitch patterns off in style. Carve out some time for yourself and go with the Shûremna flow!
For best effect, use a round yarn with good stitch definition. Yarn weights ranging from fingering to DK would be suitable. As for colorways, I would recommend solid, semi-solid, speckled, or gradient (single skein or gradient set) yarns.
