The patterns in the Textured Lace bundle will allow you to explore and have fun with lacy stitch patterns, all with a touch of texture for contrast and surface interest!

Add variation to your knits and mix lace with a touch of texture. Texture can take many forms, from subtle to bold: obvious decrease lines, a few garter stitches, twisted stitches, visible floats.
Adding texture to your knits creates surface interest in the finished project, and adds some variation when knitting the project. It’s fun to see the pattern emerge and take shape as you’re knitting it.

The patterns in this bundle will let you have fun with 4 accessory patterns (2 cowls and 2 scarves / stoles) with a variety of stitch patterns: Lace, a touch of garter, twisted stitches, twisted traveling stitches (cables), elongated stitches and visible floats.
Accessories are perfect projects to experiment with stitch patterns, colors, and yarn. And they make perfect gifts too!

Each pattern requires the equivalent of two or three skeins of yarn (from 120 grams up to 252 grams). The yarn weights range from Sport to Aran. All the patterns are customizable: You can adjust the project to your needs and yarn.

The patterns in this bundle require some attention. Some of the patterns have patterning on both RS and WS. There are no difficult stitches. Tutorials are provided for the stitches and techniques used.

With a fun mix of patterns, the Textured Lace bundle includes 4 patterns, all suitable for not too busy colorways such as solid, semi-solid, (single-skein) gradient yarns. You can use a wide range of yarn weights provided your selected yarn has enough stitch definition (suggested: Fingering to Aran). For the Gawarny scarf / stole, I suggest using a bouncy yarn. If you’d like to get some guidance about yarn types, don’t hesitate to ask me (also if you want to make them with summer or winter yarns)!

All Skeinwalker patterns come with fully written and charted instructions, blocking photos, and suggestions to customize your project. And of course, you won’t be in the wild on your own! ;-) Because the patterns also come with links to video tutorials for the techniques and stitches used, and for fixing some mistakes if needed.
