THE CLOWNING IS OVER!

Inspired by the LOCKED album cover of Life of a Showgirl. I thought this would be a fun little project for us to make, while we wait (patiently) for the drop of Taylor Swift’s TS12!

This is a super simple pattern that can be done in an afternoon, and can be made in either Fingering weight or DK weight yarn. I am recommending Jamieson’s of Shetland purely because they have a huge colour range. You can use any yarn you’d like! (I think it would be super cool if you could find a glittery/metallic yarn for the orange part)

Sizes: Fingering ( DK )

Dimensions:
Fingering: 13cm x 13cm (5¼” x 5¼” )
DK:14cm x 14cm (5½” x 5½” )

Yarns:
Fingering: Jamieson’s of Shetland - Spindrift or sub fingering weight yarn
DK: Jamieson’s of Shetland - Double Knitting or sub DK weight yarn

Green: 147 Moss or 812 Prairie | Orange: 470 Pumpkin or 478 Amber
Optional: Use a sparkly yarn, or hold a strand of sparkly orange/copper yarn with your main yarn, for the Lock part of the colourwork~

Gauge:
Fingering: 24 sts x 34 rows = 10cm (4”)
DK: 20 sts x 28 rows = 10cm (4”)
in stockinette, on 3.5 mm (US 4) / 4.00mm (US 6) needles, after blocking

Suggested Needle:
3.50 mm (US 4) / 4.00 mm (US 6) needles
Or use needle size that obtains gauge
