Ridge
» Ridge (noun): the long and narrow upper edge, angle, or crest of something, as a hill, wave, or vault. Any raised, narrow strip, as on cloth.
The Ridge Socks are worked toe-up, with a little ridge at the outside of the foot as a detail. They are suitable for men as well as women, and are given in a range of sizes.
The pattern gives a table for stitch counts and measurements per size. You then fill in the numbers and measurements that refer to you throughout the pattern.
They be worked 2AAT (two-at-a-time) or one only, using circular needles for magic loop or DPN’s - just what you prefer.
Yarn: Socktopus Sokkusu Original (100% Merino; 396 meters / 433 yards per 120g), 1 skein.
Needles: 2,25 mm / US 1 circulars (80 cm) or DPN’s, depending on your preferred method.
Other: 1-3 stitch markers, a darning needle, a piece of waste yarn if you are working an afterthought heel (optional).
Gauge: 28 sts & 34 rows on 10 cm / 4 inches in stockinette stitch worked in the round.
