Quintélis is the very first pattern published using Skeinwalker Yarns!

Come and check out Skeinwalker Yarns! They are available for purchase on Payhip!

Delicate petals suspended mid-air gently quiver. Their light tones of blush, pearl, and pink blend, so faint that they seem airbrushed on the delicate flowers. Orchid blooms seek sustenance from thin air, high up in the canopy. Their stems and aerial roots curve and dance, while overlapping oblong leaves create layered shadows and organic patterns.
The Quintélis cowl captures this suspended elegance. Wavy columns of lace and twisted stitches climb like orchid stems reaching for the light. Stacked half-paisley shapes echo the overlapping foliage. The reversible stitch patterns create distinct motifs on both sides of the cowl, and they echo the orchid’s ability to thrive from every angle.
Embrace the quintessential grace of these floating beauties; knit your own orchid reverie!

Quintélis derives its name from Latin “quintessential,” orchids and its French translation “orchidée”.

For best effect, use a smooth, round yarn with good stitch definition. Yarn weights ranging from Fingering to Worsted would be suitable. As for colorways, I would recommend solid, semi-solid, or single-skein gradient yarns.

Do you like the Quintélis cowl? You might like those patterns too: The Ôkea cowl, and the La Merveille scarf / stole. For endless fun with Reversible stitch patterns with lace and twisted stitches! Check them out!
