Polar Bear is keeping warm in their natty scarf. This bear is knitted in a combination of stockinette and reverse stockinette stitch, and the scarf is knitted in garter stitch stripes. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the bear is knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round).

NEEDLES
A pair each of 3mm and 3.5mm single pointed knitting needles (US 2.5 and 4)

RECOMMENDED YARN
Deramores Studio Anti-Pilling DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; One 100g/250m skein in each colour

NOTIONS
Tapestry needle, toy filling, and domed black buttons for eyes.

SIZES
One size only - The bear is 18cm tall (sitting).

TECHNIQUES
For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, and seaming to finish.
