Peanut the Pug Dog for Battersea
LoveCrafts has partnered with Battersea Dogs & Cats Home to help rehome lost animals one stitch at a time! When you buy this pattern, 100% of the pattern proceeds goes directly to the animals.
Peanut, designed by Amanda Berry, is based on a pug whose poor breathing caused by congenital defects was such a concern for staff at our London center that he had to undergo an operation to clear his airways. Following surgery he became a more energetic dog. His new owner heard about Peanut after a tip-off and was so intrigued he hopped in a cab and had him in his sights within an hour. He was looking for a playmate for their existing pug, and from the moment they met they were inseparable. “He is a dream dog – no accidents, no upsets, nothing but a sweet affectionate and well-adjusted bundle of fun,” says his new owner, who renamed him George.
