PATTERN INFO
Pink is not my favourite colour. Except magnolia pink. So when I saw Włóczki Warmii Mirella in the Magnolias colourway, I knew it would make something special.
And here it is: Not Bad for a Pink Shawl, a semi-triangular shawl featuring a striking cable and lace border along one side. The shawl starts from a tip of the cabled section and is worked sideways to the desired length - you can make it smaller or larger by working fewer or more pattern repeats. The pattern contains both charts and written instructions.
Size
Wingspan: 183 cm/73.25 in
Depth at the widest point: 64 cm/25.5 in
The size can be changed by working more or fewer pattern repeats.
Gauge (blocked)
Stockinette stitch: 26 sts and 36 rows = 10 cm/4 in, with main needle
Cable and lace pattern: one 32-stitch and 64-row pattern repeat measures 10.5 cm/4.25 in wide and 18 cm/7.25 in tall, with main needle
Garter stitch: 22 sts and 52 rows = 10 cm/4 in, with main needle
Gauge is not crucial for this project, but it will affect yardage and finished size if different from above.
