Nadean Hat
Norma Nadean was a quiet woman who made excellent potato salad, loved to write and receive letters, and always told me that I could do anything. I couldn’t stop with just mittens in honor of her, there had to be a hat too!
I chose to echo the white ribbing and the gray broken rib patterning of the mitten body in this hat. While I knit it to beanie length, you can eaily customize this hat to make it a slouchy one if you prefer.
With any luck, you’ll have this hat knit in time to stave off the darkest days of winter, while enjoying the quick and easy pattern. I know Norma Nadean would wear this hat with aplomb.
This pattern is meant for an adventurous novice to advanced knitter and all those in-between.
Both written and charted directions are included in this pattern. Please read the entire pattern before beginning.
