Linje Cardigan
A few years back I started dreaming about a basic cardigan that could be a staple in my wardrobe. I played around with different construction ideas and details to add a little something special to this basic piece. I moved the classic Raglan increase to the top of the shoulders for a hint of structure and added lines of slipped stitches along the shoulders, sleeves and edges. As the lines became that little special detail in this cardigan Linje (meaning line in Danish) is a fitting name.
Because of the very simplistic nature of the Linje Cardigan I wanted to make it even more versatile by adding more neckline options. You can pick between 3 different necklines to make it just right for you.
To make it easier to keep track of the increases and the neckline shaping, the pattern uses a table for each size as well as written instructions.
