Light Ease
The setting sun streams golden rays over the ridge. Shadows grow tall in the late autumn evening, and most of the leaves have since dropped from the trees. Exposed lichen clings to granite rocks in the field of pale uncut hay. November warmth radiates, even this late in the day, and geese fly in wavering V’s to head south.
Sweater is worked from the top down flat to start and then joined in the round at the front when the neck shaping is completed. Sleeve sts are placed on holders while body is worked. Sleeves and neckline are then worked and bound off. Sweater is intended to be worn with 1-3’’ of positive ease.
