Helgi (NEW)
Work Helgi from the bottom and up.
The front and the back are worked in the round in one piece to the armholes.
Then work rest while you work the sleeves, the body is divided into front and back, and the yoke is now worked with raglan decreases.
Finally, sts are picked up for the neckband, which is worked in rib, folded over, and sewn onto the wrong side.
Helgi is a lovely, thick sweater with a pattern inspired by old Faroese patterns.
The design was first launched in 2011, knitted in Naturgarn at the time. The yarn has since been discontinued, but to make sure this lovely and classic sweater isn’t forgotten, we’ve converted it to Peruvian and Vilja and added a couple of sizes.
