Fiblister cowl
There was a certain place name that the rebellious part of my brain wanted to use for this pattern…but in the end I settled for Fblister, which was suggested by my host as it’s one of her favourite place names on the island.
The yarn is available from The Knitting Gift Shop - it’s a reasonably heavy weight DK (more of a worsted weight really) so I recommend 4.5 or 5mm needles (depending on your gauge), rather than 4mm.
This pattern is part of my collection “Shetland Story”, produced in celebration of Shetland Wool Week. The 7 patterns that make up the collection will be released over the next couple of weeks and they each use Shetland wool of different types. The photos have all been taken during my trip to Shetland too.
All of the patterns are designed to be knit quickly and easily, since we’re heading in to gift-knitting season, and to encourage knitters to try out Shetland yarn if they’ve not used it before.
