Dad's Photography / iPhone Gloves
Pattern Updated July 2022
These gloves were originally designed as a gift for my Dad, after he joked that he needed a pair of gloves with a tip of one of the index fingers missing so he could take photos in the cold. I realised I needed the same thing - because I kept having to answer phone-calls with my nose! Playing with this idea I decided to also leave off the tip of the thumb, for Dad to use the functions on the back of his camera and for me to have further controls on my smartphone.
Whether you decide to complete all the fingers or make these into fingerless gloves, the pattern is designed to fit a range of sizes, with a different thumb gusset for each left and right glove.
These are particularly lovely worked in the recommended yarn, Rowan Felted Tweed DK.
