When you just need something for your self-striping or busy yarn, these 8 stitch charts are perfect! They add a little interest to a mainly vanilla sock. You can combine charts to build your own pattern. There are blank charts on the last page of the pattern to play and make your sock completely yours.

The sock comes in 3 sizes and is knit from the top down with a slip stitch heel flap and traditional gusset. I finished it with my version of a rounded toe.

Written and charted instructions are included.

The pattern looks great on lots of different types of yarn…Give it a try! Check out my tester’s project pages for inspiration.

I used a skein of fingering weight main colour yarn and a 20g mini for the contrast. Thank you to Emily from Turtlepurl yarns for the beautiful yarns to play with.

Huge thanks to my test knitters Heather J, Rochelle, Leanne, Jenn, Adrienne, Ruth, Joseé, Jess, Lori, Mara, Mandy & Sophie for their feedback, enthusiasm and beautiful socks.
