INTRO

Bruma Cardigan is a light and enveloping cardigan with clean lines and a soft drape, featuring an elegant texture that complements any look.

The stitches for the neck are cast on using an i-cord, from which stitches are then picked up to work the back up to the underarm.
Next, stitches are picked up and worked for each front separately, shaping the V-neck.
Once you reach the underarm, both fronts and the back are joined, and the body is worked in one piece down to the hem, which is finished with an i-cord bind-off.
Finally, stitches are picked up for the sleeves, which are worked in the round with decreases and finished with an i-cord edge.

GAUGE

In the stitch pattern described inside the pattern, worked flat, using 5.00 mm US 8 needles, after washing and blocking:

17 stitches x 21 rows = 10 x 10 cm 4 x 4″

It’s important to knit a swatch and wash it. This will prevent your finished garment from turning out larger or smaller than expected.

INTRO

Bruma Cardigan es una chaqueta ligera y envolvente, de líneas limpias y caída suave, con una textura elegante que acompaña cualquier look.

Se montan los puntos del cuello con un i-cord del que se levantan los puntos para trabajar la espalda hasta la sisa.
Luego, se levantan y tejen puntos para cada delantero, que se tejen por separado, dando forma al escote en pico.
Una vez hemos llegado a la sisa, unimos los dos delanteros y la espalda, y seguimos tejiendo hasta el bajo, que cerraremos con un i-cord.
Por último se retoman los puntos de las mangas, que se tejen en circular, con disminuciones, y al final también van acabadas con un i-cord.

MUESTRA

En punto descrito en el patrón, tejido en plano, con agujas de 5.00 mm US 8, después de lavar y bloquear la muestra:

17 puntos x 21 vueltas = 10 x 10 cm 4 x 4″

Es importante que hagas una muestra y la laves, eso evitará que cuando acabes de tejer, te salga una prenda más grande o más pequeña de lo esperado.
