Birdsong
Birdsong is knit seamlessly with a combination of bottom-up and top-down construction methods. You begin at the hem and work up through the neck, provisionally casting on the upper sleeve stitches. The sleeves are knit from the top-down, and instructions are given for four sleeve lengths. Slight A-line shaping and a lovely, scalloped lace hem make for a beautiful and easy to wear garment. Knit in fingering weight yarn, it is recommended that a yarn with good drape is chosen to ensure a flattering garment. Sample pictured is worn with 1.5 inches / 4 cm of positive ease.
This pattern has been tech edited and test knitted.
