ERRATA: the heel flap should be K25 (not K24) and P25 (not P24)

When I considered our second to last sock for the BlackSheep Hoppy Feet Club, I knew that it needed to be meaningful. I chose to combine a German heel with a French toe and knit the sock in the color of the poppies that wave across the fields of Europe. Those same poppies which inspired the poem “In Flanders Field” during World War I. Combine all of these things with our November club offering and it results in the Armistice Socks.

This pattern is meant for an adventurous novice to intermediate knitter. Please read the entire pattern before beginning.
