The Alba sweater in the Archipelago Knits magazine is a classic from the moment it’s made. Its design language combines playfulness and softness, making it the perfect everyday favorite. The surface of the knit features round, bubble-like motifs. This easy sweater has a relaxed fit and a softly rounded, snowball-like shape. The texture is created with knit and purl stitches, and the rhythmic check pattern becomes intuitive as the work progresses. The sweater is worked from the top down, allowing you to try it on while it’s still in progress. Its fluffy surface is achieved by holding alpaca yarn together with silk mohair throughout.

Saaristoneuleet-lehden Alba-paita on klassikko jo syntyessään. Puseron muotokielessä kohtaavat leikkisyys ja pehmeys, se on täydellinen luottoneule. Neuleen pinnalla on pallomaisia kuvioita. Helpon puseron mitoitus on väljä ja muodoltaan lumipallomainen. Pinta muodostuu oikeista ja nurjista silmukoista. Paidan rytmikkään ruutukuvion oppii helposti sitä mukaa, kun työ etenee. Paita neulotaan ylhäältä alas, joten sitä voi sovittaa työn ollessa vielä kesken. Pörröinen pinta syntyy alpakkalangan ja silkki-mohairin yhdistelmästä. Langoilla neulotaan yhtä aikaa.
