Airmid
Airmid is named for the Celtic goddess associated healing and especially herbal healing. The socks features the twists of a herbal plant, sprouting leaves as it runs up the sock. The leaf cable on the back of the sock is a simpler version of the pattern on the front. The sock ends in a simple twisted ribbing that compliments the more intricate cable-leaf motif of the main pattern.
The sock is worked from the toe up. The cable patterns used in this pattern are all charted
Language: English and Danish
Airmid was originally designed as the third instalment of the MacKintosh Yarns Sock Club 2011.
