ABSTRACTA PULLOVER
……………………………………..

Inspired by the landscape outside my window, and equally by the stack
of pastel chalks with which I was about to sketch it, Abstracta is a
wearable study in form, movement and colour.

It is also an ideal learning opportunity for those who would like to practice
stranded colourwork and steeking, in a simplified and accessible format.

The colourwork chart is so easy to memorise, you will hardly need it after an initial glance, and the project will fly in autopilot mode. When it is time to set up steeks, they are done in such a way that you can continue in pattern without breaking stride. An illustrated tutorial then explains how to secure, cut, and finish the steeks to ensure a stable, durable, and aesthetically pleasing result.

A fun, relaxed, and comfortable sweater, Abstracta radiates a positive creative energy - celebrating the artist and maker in all of us.
