I’m an Ohio-based knitwear designer, and I’ve been knitting for as long as I can remember! Even as a kid I loved adding my own personal touches to my knitting, and after many years of tinkering I gained the courage to publish my own original work.

As a designer, I aim to give knitters the confidence to make their own modifications or to add their own flair to their knits. I try to write my patterns so that they are easy for even new knitters to follow, and I always provide tutorials for special techniques that I use in each design!

There are some fun design elements that I’ve grown fond of over the years that you’ll find featured in much of my work:

• Tubular CO/BO
• Split body hem
• Permanently folded edges (using a Provisional CO)
• German short rows
• i-cord shawl/scarf edging
• Variety of techniques to minimize the ends to weave in
