Thick, bulky singles of squooshy wool… not merino soft but not a scratchy yarn either. Singles are lightly spun and appear very slightly fulled (?)… becoming a tad hairy once knitted up. Made in Uruguay, labelled in Australia (woolconnection.com.au).

Recommended needles of 7mm.

Swatching gives me 14st on 5.5mm needles, 15st on 5mm needles with a nice, flexible knitted fabric (not too open, but not firm). Knitted fabric gives good stitch definition but will mostly likely hair up a tad over time.

Handwash only. Should be good yarn for winter cardies and jackets/coats or felted items.
