Houndstooth Tweed is a soft and lofty, single spun yarn – the ideal choice for sweaters and neckwear – or socks! The composition of 90% Fine Merino and 10% Tweed Nep gives it good bite for stranded colour work/Fair Isle knitting. The same weight as all the other Wishbone singles, it knits up as a slightly thicker yarn due to the Tweed Neps. The Merino wool in this yarn is sustainably farmed and mulesing-free.
