This yarn was another “Ooh my G-d” moment in our lives. We had ordered everything for our Fall/Winter collection and as we went to leave the factory, one of our friends says “Here…I’ve got a new sample to show you.” We dropped everything and sat for another 4 hours making swatches, touching the yarn and falling in lust. Tonalita is a blend of Wool and Acrylic that changes colors from one shade to another in a very subtle way. The yarn is not spun raw and dyed, but it is dyed as un-spun raw fiber and spun into the colorways that we bring to life for you here. I’ve had so much fun knitting with this yarn and watching the colors change.

52% wool/48% acrylic Non-felting, according to the Trendsetter Yarns website.

Guage on the yarn is 4.5 st = 1” on #9 needle (equivalent to Aran), however yarn measures as about 14 wpi and looks like fingering.
