Oak Linen Silk is a 55% Linen 45% Bourette Silk yarn. It has no superwash treatment.

A soft and rustic three-ply thread. A fresh yarn thanks to the combination of linen and Bourette silk, which is known as “raw silk.” It is composed of the waste fiber from inside the cocoon and/or from broken silk cocoons. These silk fibers have a rustic, irregular, and matte texture which, combined with linen, creates a rustic yarn with a spunky yet lightweight feel. The combination of linen and Bourette silk gives the yarn a two-tone appearance and a slight tweed effect that sets it apart.

Both linen and silk have thermoregulatory properties, keeping moisture away from your body to keep you feeling cool.

The linen makes this yarn durable, and the silk adds softness.

Each 100g skein contains 450m (492 yards). Light Fingering weight.
