Oak Linen Silk

Oak Linen Silk is a 55% Linen 45% Bourette Silk yarn. It does not have a superwash treatment.
A soft and rustic three-ply yarn. A fresh yarn thanks to the combination of Linen and Bourette Silk (Noil silk), which is known as “raw silk”, is composed of the waste fiber from the inside of the cocoon and/or broken silk cocoons. These silk fibers have a rustic, irregular and matte texture, which combined with linen offer a rustic thread, with nerve but without stiffness and light. The union of linen and Bourette silk give it a two-tone appearance and a slight tweed effect to the thread that makes it different.
Both linen and silk have thermoregulatory properties, keeping moisture away from your body, to make you feel fresh.
Linen makes it a resistant thread and silk gives it softness.
