Filigree Lace
from
Hazel Knits

We have replaced Filigree with our new Filigree Pure Merino - the only difference is our new base is nylon free.
This merino yarn is a four ply, yet it is less than half the thickness of the Artisan Sock. I am so pleased with the twist on this lace yarn - not to tight, yet, not splitty. It’s quite nice to work with. The put up will be 1200 yards (around 165 grams!). This batch has a bit of nylon in it, however, just like the sock yarn, but you’d never know it was there. It’s also a superwash, so while it’s doubtful you’d ever machine wash a shawl or other lacy little thing, it’s nice to know it won’t come out in a felted heap if that does accidentally happen.
