Askham Lace

Askham Lace (formerly known as Pegasus Lace) is luxurious, soft, lustrous, and lovely to work with. It creates a warm yet lightweight fabric, with good stitch definition. The silk content adds strength and gives the yarn a gentle sheen. The fine baby alpaca makes it a bit fluffy without being itchy like some alpaca yarns. An item made in this yarn is a joy to wear - you hardly know it’s there but can really feel the warmth from it.
As with all hand dyed yarns, I would recommend that you use two skeins at a time, alternating from each one every couple of rows/rounds (unless it’s a one-skein project).
Handwash without soap or detergent.
We recommend that you wash dark colours separately or wash a swatch before using dark and light colours together.
