Each 100g/180 ft (ca. 54m) skein is made by hand from start to finish! Vintage silk saris are first torn by hand into quarter inch strips, then sewn together to make this wonderful recycled sari silk yarn.

And just remember that you just need one of these skeins to make an easy-peasy scarf. CO 5 on size 17’s and work up the whole skein in garter stitch.
