These yarns are mill spun and steam set (for a balanced yarn) for us from 5 strands of the roughly 1/19NM high twist weaving singles we also sell. The silk has a raw slubby feel with vivid colour mixes and twisting up to the thicker weight gives a delightfully “crunchy” feeling yarn, very strong yet light, perfect for jackets for example.
