BB shares Verb’s ethos of attention to the health of the earth by being sourced entirely domestically. Bread & Butter yarns are made from U.S. grown wool, and are dyed, spun, and finished in the U.S. As the name implies, we envision these yarns as staples, wearable and comforting, that cover the range of thicknesses we want to knit with and wear.

We are so excited to bring you the Verb experience at a lower price point, that gives us all a little break!

Named Everyday…because we hope you will use it as your Everyday yarn. It is a heavy worsted weight (16 sts / 4”) making it easy to knit for everyone from beginners to advanced knitter, crocheters, and weavers. Round and bouncy, it picks up stitch definition beautifully so plan for cables, rib, etc. Great for sweaters, cowls, hats…all of those everyday garments and accessories we all know and love.

Everyday features 22 beautifully blended colors that Kristine, the co-owner of Verb, created by carding and spinning by hand - and an undyed natural white (Soft Serve). The mill then took these handspun samples and created Everyday.

This palette is influenced by our love of hiking, gardening, and living in the Bay Area, and the colors in it are designed to work well together for colorwork projects.
