Saltwater is the comfort of home in an all wool, 3 ply, sport weight yarn.

Whidbey Island, where this yarn was made, is surrounded by the salty waters of the Puget Sound. Standing on the beach closest to our home I can see the shores of the Olympic Peninsula stretching up from the south. And reaching down from the north is Vancouver Island, almost completing the embrace, but leaving a gap between the two arms of land where the Salish Sea carries our tides directly out to the Pacific Ocean. The comfort of home, for us, feels like a walk on the beach, the familiar spray of saltwater carried on a cold wind, all the while snuggly wrapped in soft, handknit wool.
