Knitting: Throw
I started this on a whim, not sure I was really going to finish it. Three months later after I had decided to give it as a holiday present I had to finish it and luckily I made it in time.

Knitting: Animal Toy
-Finished Size: 6 (7, 7 1/2)“ long from nose to tail and 6 (7 1/2, 8 1/2)” tall from ears to feet.

Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
These socks were made on a Erlbacher Gearhart and this is a free pattern for making these socks on a circular sock machine.

Here are the hand knit instructions for Maxim Vorsin’s Machine Fan Lace. I think this works best with yarn that has some fluff to it, something with mohair, alpaca, or angora in it. The sample shown here is knit from handspun Targhee.

I made these for my sister after I knitted Madeline’s bird mittens for my mother. I am so glad to be done with this yarn since I also finished a Swansen shawl with what I had left.
