Knitting: Scarf
Casting on at the tip, increasing one side up to the middle and decreasing at the same side down to the other tip, this pattern grows under your hands in the most satisfying way. While knitting this little playful accessory up (and down), playful pearl stitch edges are worked on both sides.

Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
Starting from the center of the top, one increase on each side and on both sides of the center stitch every other row create a triangle. Whatever yarn you use will decide the size of the shawl, so any gauge providing a fabric with some drape will work nicely.

Knitting: Sleeveless Top, Vest
This simple knit fitted sleeveless slip over with a v-neck makes a great addition to any wardrobe.

Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
In the olden days Austrian knitters handed down their patterns from generation to generation, not written down, but in knitted stripes of pattern samples. Garments were designed with mixtures of these, so using the same method of construction every one was a very individual display of art and skill!
