Knitting: Hats - Other
The most important part about this pattern is using YOUR needles, yarn and gauge to knit to the dimensions (18 inches x 10 inches) of this project.

Knitting: Potholder
This pattern was revised to incorporate a thumb gusset, which makes this mitt look and feel better!

Knitting: Containers
I discovered this twined technique when I tried to make the Larus+Ardea mitts, and loved the sturdy fabric it creates. I also found a great book at our local library “Traditional Scandinavian Knitting” by McGregor (can’t remember first name at the moment) that includes this technique among others. If I can find a copy I am going to buy it!
